Tina O’Guinn, Controller
Tina O’Guinn joined Operation Kindness in 2009. She is responsible for preparing and analyzing financials, managing cash flow, compiling the annual budget, coordinating the audit, facilitating and reviewing the 990, establishing and enforcing accounting policies, and maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets. Tina manages an accounting department responsible for processing donations and adoptions as well as payments to vendors.
Tina is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University. She spent the beginning of her career working primarily in the restaurant industry. But, she discovered that working for a nonprofit was much more fulfilling and working with animals is close to her heart. She lives in Carrollton with her four children and her dog.
