Workshop: The First 48

This workshop will help set your new dog up for success in their first 48 hours in your home. If you recently adopted a dog or are considering adopting soon, The First 48 is the workshop for you!
In The First 48, you will learn how to:

  • Identify traits to select a dog that fits your household and lifestyle
  • Set up your home for your pet’s arrival, including identifying any problem areas
  • Set up successful introductions to family members and family pets
  • Apply behavior training techniques for common behavior challenges like crate and potty training, destructive chewing and pulling on leash

Fee is $20 per person. This workshop is for pet parents only, no dogs will be allowed to attend the class.

Workshop: Chewing, Peeing and Jumping - Oh My!

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to manage unwanted behaviors from your dog. If you have a puppy or a high-energy dog, this is the workshop for you!
You will learn how to:

  • Implement training techniques to prevent challenging behaviors of jumping, inappropriate pottying and destructive behaviors
  • Apply cleaning techniques to prevent future potty incidents
  • Define enrichment concepts and implement a plan to address natural dog behaviors
  • Develop a plan for your individual dog’s behaviors
