The Pet Food Pantry provides temporary food assistance to help families in need feed their pets. Read below if you are interested in how to get free pet food and learn more about our location options for pick up.

Operation Kindness Humane Society

The pantry event at Operation Kindness Humane Society is located at 3201 Earhart Dr, Carrollton, TX 75006 and is a drive-thru style distribution. This change is designed to improve efficiency and make it easier for you to receive the support you need.

The event is in the large parking lot at the corner of Earhart Dr. and Chenault Dr. Please enter from Chenault Dr. and look for our pantry trailer as you exit Earhart Dr.

Hours of Operation: Thursdays and Sundays only from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

New Pantry Location in Dallas

1771 Terre Colony Ct. Dallas, TX 75212We will now be located in the parking lot across the street from Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center.

Hours of Operation: 3rd Wednesday of each month from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

October Special Hours: October 21, 2026 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.

The Operation Kindness Humane Society Pet Food Pantry provides temporary food assistance to help families in need feed their pets. We offer free dog and cat food based on availability.
If you need assistance with free pet food, please apply online in English or en español. Once your application is approved, we can provide food for up to six months. After this six-month period, you’ll be required to submit a new application.
The Pet Food Pantry is open at our main shelter in Carrollton every Thursday and Sunday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. If you have any questions, email our team or call (972) 418-7297.

Donations of dry and canned dog and cat food are always needed.

We cannot accept prescription food or medications. Donations can be dropped off at 3201 Earhart Dr. Carrollton, TX 75006 between 9:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. daily.
