Operation Kindness Raises Historic $855,000 at 31st Annual Canines, Cats & Cabernet Gala

Operation Kindness I 2023 Canines, Cats and Cabernet gala

Operation Kindness is thrilled to announce that our 31st annual fundraising event, Canines, Cats & Cabernet, raised $855,000 for the organization. The special evening of dinner, dancing, live music and auctions showcased our mission work to over 500 attendees, who adopted 6 pets from the event’s adoption lounge.

A Special Night for the Animals

The annual Canines, Cats & Cabernet event is an extravaganza that allows community members to celebrate their passion for animal welfare with dinner, dancing and live music by the Emerald City Band. Hosted by Shannon Murray of FOX 4 news, the 2023 evening was chaired by Tanya and Curt Boisfontaine. Joni McCoy was honored with the Champion for Animals Award.

“Once again, I am blown away by the support we have at Operation Kindness,” said Ed Jamison, our chief executive officer at Operation Kindness. “Canines, Cats and Cabernet is an unforgettable evening, and I’m already looking forward to seeing everyone again in 2024.”
