We are proud to share that Operation Kindness Humane Society President & CEO, Ed Jamison, has been named a finalist in the Leadership Excellence: Mega category for D CEO Magazine’s 2026 Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards, presented in partnership with Communities Foundation of Texas.

With more than 900 nominations submitted this year across North Texas, this recognition is an incredible honor. Under Ed’s leadership, Operation Kindness Humane Society has continued to grow beyond the traditional walls of a shelter — expanding access to care, strengthening community partnerships and helping a record-breaking 83,387 animals in 2025 alone.

But perhaps most importantly, Ed has challenged all of us to think bigger about what’s possible for pets and the people who love them. This recognition reflects not only visionary leadership, but also the compassion, innovation and commitment of our entire team, supporters, volunteers, adopters, fosters and partners who make this work possible every day.

As we celebrate 50 years of Operation Kindness Humane Society, we are honored to be building the future of this work together.
