2025 marked a year of growth for Operation Kindness Humane Society. Across all of our programs, we were able to impact the lives of 83,387 pets, an increase of 78% from 2024. We are proud of our accomplishments this past year, which advanced our mission of making the world a kinder place for pets and the people who love them.

Since the start of 2026, we have continued expanding our mission across North Texas and beyond. In February 2026, we partnered with Humane World for Animals, the Runnels County Sheriff’s Office and the Humane Society of Greater Kansas to help more than 70 animals suspected to be victims of animal cruelty in Ballinger, Texas. During that same month, we announced that Rockwall Pets had merged with our organization, strengthening two of Dallas Animal Services’ most committed rescue partners and allowing us to expand critical community services into Rockwall.
As we look forward to the future, we are also excited to celebrate our 50th anniversary and reflect on everything Operation Kindness Humane Society has achieved since opening our doors in 1976. Our work over the past 50 years would not have been possible without your support, thank you!
