Claire Collins – Estate Planning and Probate Attorney

Claire Collins brings over two decades of legal expertise to Operation Kindness, where she joined as a full-time staff member in August 2024 after representing the organization since 2011. As both a community volunteer and passionate advocate for the humane treatment of animals, Claire is deeply committed to helping Operation Kindness manage its budget and achieve critical fundraising objectives. Her extensive experience with tax-exempt entities has proven invaluable in supporting organizations that serve children, families, and animals through educational and social services.

Claire’s distinguished career spans private practice since 1995, with specialized focus on tax-exempt entities beginning in 2005. She holds a J.D. from the University of Texas and both BBA and MBA degrees from Southern Methodist University. Her impressive professional background includes serving as a law clerk to federal judges in the Northern District of Texas, and she has successfully represented notable clients, including the Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation, the Dallas Foundation, the University of Minnesota Foundation, and Rogers Wildlife.

Claire is an active member of the Dallas Estate Planning Council and the Dallas Bar Association’s Probate, Trust & Estate Section. She was inducted into the College of the State Bar of Texas in 2014, reflecting her standing as a respected leader in estate planning and probate law.
