Operation Kindness Humane Society is excited to have partnered with Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin and his wife Kate, who, in collaboration with the Dallas Stars Foundation, launched K91’s — a campaign to highlight shelter pets in North Texas.
With every Stars home win now through the 2025-2026 regular season, the Seguin family has committed to paying the adoption fees of one of our shelter dogs. Adoption fees cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, core vaccinations and a microchip.
Shelter Pets Featured on 2026 Calendar
Community members can now find our adorable shelter pets posing with hockey players on the Dallas Stars calendar! All proceeds benefit Operation Kindness Humane Society and the Dallas Stars Foundation.
“We are so grateful to the Dallas Stars Foundation, and to Tyler and Kate Seguin, for shining a light on shelter animals through the 2026 calendar and the K91 campaign,” said Gina Parker, development director at Operation Kindness. “The opportunity to feature our animals is incredibly important to us, and both collaborations help more pets find the loving homes they deserve.”
Meet the Pups with Sponsored Adoption Fees
You can find shelter dogs with waived adoption fees by exploring our adoptable dogs page and looking for profiles marked with a green Dallas Stars frame. Meet a couple of our pups who are free to adopt thanks to the Dallas Stars:
Blanche

With her wide brown eyes and affectionate attitude, Blanche is one dog hard to resist falling in love with. Blanche originally arrived at our Carrollton shelter as a nursing mama, but with her puppies all grown up, she is now ready to focus on her new calling — finding a loving family to call her own.
Pongo

Known for his shiny white coat and gentle spirit, Pongo would make a great companion for any family. He loves spending time outdoors, sniffing out new scents and snuggling on the couch with his favorite humans. This pup is excited to meet his new family and looks forward to making unforgettable memories with them!
