Over $300,000 Raised at Operation Kindness Humane Society’s 2026 Hope, Hearts & Boots

On May 16, 2026, Operation Kindness Humane Society hosted our annual spring fundraiser with a new name — Hope, Hearts & Boots. In one unforgettable night, animal lovers came together and raised over $300,000 for pets in Texas.

Hope, Hearts & Boots is a celebration that allows community members to share their passion for animals, learn about how we are advancing our mission and raise funds to save even more animal lives! Cowboy Auctioneers energized the crowd during our live auction, where attendees raised their paddles to bid on exclusive prizes — including a six-day getaway to Costa Rica and a private dining experience hosted by renowned royal chef Darren McGrady.

Guests had the chance to interact with Operation Kindness Humane Society cats and dogs at our pet adoption lounge and capture memories at our photo lounge. We also debuted a hat bar, where supporters designed their own cowboy hats to remember the night. To close out the fun-filled evening, The Diamond West Band performed and brought the crowd to life on the dance floor.

Proceeds from the event help us create a kinder world for pets and the people who love them by funding our lifesaving programs. Because of your support, we can provide adoption and foster care for vulnerable animals, affordable veterinary services for community pets, a pet food pantry and more.
