Dr. Elizabeth Hendel joins the Operation Kindness team
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Elizabeth Hendel to our Community Initiatives team!
Elizabeth Hendel, DVM, will serve as an “integral part of our community wellness clinic program and is our primary forensics veterinarian in our partnership with Dallas Animal Services and Dallas Police Department,” said Chief Community Initiatives Officer Meredith Jones. “She has a strong background in general public wellness, shelter medical and animal cruelty and forensic work.”
Dr. Hendel has been a veterinarian for around 23 years, graduating from Texas A&M University and most recently working at the SPCA of Dallas. She knew she had a passion for animals very young and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian when she was just five years old, growing up on a dairy farm.
“I am very excited to join the Operation Kindness Community Initiatives team,” Dr. Hendel said. “I look forward to helping community members and their pets.”
