2025 Dallas County Impact Report

In 2025, Operation Kindness Humane Society made a transformative impact in Dallas County, assisting 61,089 animals. We cultivated existing relationships and built new ones with shelter partners in the county, allowing us to transfer 3,604 animals into our care and giving North Texas pets a second chance at finding a loving home.

Over the year, we worked to establish long-lasting, meaningful relationships with community members in Dallas County. Our Pet Food Pantry, which offers temporary pet food assistance for families, served 41,541 pets in Dallas, a major milestone since its creation in 2017.

Providing accessible, affordable care to pets across the city through community wellness, vaccine, microchip and spay/neuter clinics is one of the many commitments of our Community Initiatives team. In 2025, our team helped nearly 6,000 pets receive the veterinary care they needed to live a healthy life alongside their families.
