We are all thrilled to announce that Friends of Dallas Animal Services, the non-profit fundraising partner to Dallas Animal Services, has officially merged with Operation Kindness! This initiative marks a new chapter in our shared mission to support pets and the people who love them in Dallas.
Friends of Dallas Animal Services was founded in 2019 by a small group of Dallas shelter volunteers united by a love of animals and appreciation of the unique challenges faced by municipal shelters. As a non-profit, Friends of Dallas Animal Services provided fundraising support for the Dallas shelter.
Friends of Dallas Animal Services is Now an Operation Kindness Initiative
By joining forces, we can expand our resources, enhance our impact, and provide even more lifesaving care to animals in need. Together, we will continue to support Dallas Animal Services while strengthening community programs, adoption efforts, and critical medical care for thousands of pets.
Importantly, all funds previously raised by Friends of Dallas Animal Services—as well as future donations designated for this initiative—will remain restricted for use only for Dallas pets. Donor contributions will continue to provide critical assistance to Dallas Animal Services and the pets they serve.
