Amongst the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping, Galleria Dallas visitors can find wagging tails and tiny paws hoping to find new homes during the festive season. From Nov. 28 to Dec. 28, guests of the shopping center can meet adoptable pets from Operation Kindness thanks to a special partnership with Galleria Dallas.
In 2024, we found homes for 227 pets during the annual holiday pop-up, and we aim to help even more pets find their match during this year’s month-long event.
Pet Adoptions Located Inside Galleria Dallas
From Nov. 28 to Dec. 28, Operation Kindness will host a pet adoption center at Galleria Dallas, 13350 Dallas Parkway, on Level 1 near Banana Republic and SNOWDAY. Adoptable pets will be available Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and Sundays from 12:00-6:00 P.M. The adoption center will be open on Christmas Eve, December 24, from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. To encourage families to adopt before the end of the year, we will continue hosting pet adoptions at the shopping center after Christmas, from December 26 to 28.
Adoption fees for cats are $155 and $205 for dogs. Your adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate core vaccinations and a microchip.
This year, community members who adopt from Operation Kindness’ Galleria Dallas adoption center will receive a free commemorative photo ornament to remember their first holiday season with their new furry family member.
Operation Kindness Featured on Gallery Wall
Galleria Dallas will also feature Operation Kindness on its December Gallery Wall, which highlights a different local nonprofit each month. The display, on Level 1 across from Sephora, was created by Pamela Pardo and S. Laiba Ali. The colorful design illustrates why we are committed to our work — to see the magical bond flourish between pets and their families.
At our Galleria Dallas adoption center, we will have up to 12 dogs and cats available on-site at a time. Visitors can interact with the animals at the event and speak with staff and volunteers to learn more about a pet’s background. Families interested in adoption can take their new pet home the same day.
