Operation Kindness hires a new veterinarian for Community Initiatives

Dr. Rachel Redd joins the Operation Kindness team

As Operation Kindness launches our new Community Initiatives program, we are pleased to welcome veterinarian Dr. Rachel Redd to the team!

Dr. Redd will lead community veterinary services, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchips, and wellness, in our priority areas.

After Dr. Redd attended Colorado State University for veterinary school she worked for 8 years in private practice in New Mexico, where she was born and raised.

Growing up on a pecan farm in rural New Mexico, Dr. Redd is very familiar with how difficult it can be to access emergency veterinary care, as well as preventative veterinary care which is equally, if not more, important.

In 2018, Dr. Redd moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and worked at the SPCA of Texas Spay/Neuter and Wellness Clinics for four years.

What Dr. Redd loves most about being a veterinarian is developing relationships with people and their pets.

I am so excited to join the new Community Initiatives team at Operation Kindness to help bring high-quality, affordable veterinary services to communities throughout North Texas. Cost, transportation and language barriers can all prevent families from accessing veterinary care. Our team will help overcome these barriers by bringing services directly into the community,” said Dr. Rachel Redd.
