Garth Rogers, General Manager of Facilities & IT

Garth Rogers is a driven and dynamic leader tasked with managing the rapidly growing facilities and technology portfolios of Operation Kindness.

In his role as General Manager of Facilities & IT, Garth is responsible for directing the day-to-day maintenance of the shelter, managing purchasing, and leading the organization’s technological capabilities into the future.

Garth joined the team in 2020, after serving with the general contractor of our latest expansion project. He has an intimate knowledge of the facility’s unique needs and capabilities. Also managing the IT portfolio, he brings Operation Kindness an expansive vision of how new and emerging technologies can better serve our mission.

Garth is a Dallas native with roots in old East Dallas. He comes from a long line of animal lovers having grown up in a house with three siblings, two dogs, two birds, and nine cats – all under the same roof! When he’s not at the shelter, his passions find him racing exotic cars, rebuilding old ones, and building computers.
