MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Volunteering at Operation Kindness is rewarding and makes a huge difference in the lives of our animals. Our caring and hard-working volunteers help in a variety of programs throughout the year. We invite you to join our volunteer team today by completing three easy steps:

1

Fill Out Our Volunteer Application. All potential volunteers must have a volunteer application on file to be considered for the Operation Kindness Volunteer Program. We welcome families, so please complete a registration form and payment for each family member. This volunteer program is not for court-ordered community service.

2

Pay your volunteer fees below per person and you will be directed to a survey to complete your application. All volunteers must attend a Volunteer Orientation webinar online and a hands-on training at the shelter before you can begin volunteering. Once you submit your application, you will be notified regarding the Operation Kindness training webinar.

An application fee of $35 for adult volunteers and $25 for junior volunteers (6-18 years old) is also required, per person. This covers your badge, T-shirt, and administrative costs.

Commit to Volunteering. With our flexible hours, you’ll be able to tailor your volunteer experience around your schedule. We also can give you activities that best suit your individual interests and skills. Volunteers must commit to 4 hours per month to remain active. They can also remain active by fostering or assisting with our large fundraisers.
