Helping animals start off on the right PAW
Troop leader Janet DeYear, Nikke DeYear and shelter dog, Alf with the adopter kits

Animal lovers from Girl Scout Troop 950 worked together on a project to earn their Bronze award.  The Bronze
award is the highest award that Junior Girl Scouts can receive and they chose to pick a project that helps animals.
The Troop creatd "First Night Home" adoption starter kits for new adopters. They created kits with everything from food, bowls,
toys and collars - the most essential items that new adopters would need so that they could focus on spending time and bonding
with their new family member instead of having to go to the store.   They did a great job and made the kits look great too.

We are so happy to have supporters like them who are so passionate about helping homeless animals.   Congratulations Troop 950!

Thanks from all your two-legged and four-legged friends at Operation Kindness.
