The best word we can use to describe Max is patient. The sweet-natured boy was found as a stray after he had been hit by a car. His pelvis was broken in many places. He was in such bad shape we weren't even sure if he would survive. But as we said, Max is patient, and our veterinarians prescribed him cage rest and pain medication in order to heal. If you have ever known a young Labrador, you know that cage rest isn't really an ideal situation. But Max waited patiently for months as he recovered from what could have been a fatal injury. In fact, he ultimately had to have a surgery to fix one small part of his hip. He worked through physical therapy, made a great recovery, and is ready to be adopted.
Max is patient. In fact, his patience is a testament to the good nature of this amazing dog. Max is now patiently waiting for his new family to come find him, and give him the hugs and kisses he craves and deserves. Please don't make him wait too much longer...
