Have you ever heard of the BBD Syndrome? It stands for Big Black Dog Syndrome, and it explains how bigger, black dogs have a very hard time getting adopted once they come to an animal shelter. This is because the average person thinks big, black dogs are scary or menacing.

Nothing could be further from the truth when it comes to our sweet Elizabeth. This good-natured dog is great with other dogs and loves being around people. She's full-grown at about 40 pounds and has a great smile too. The little girl has been with Operation Kindness since December of 2007- we're convinced her stay has been so long because of the BBD Syndrome. But, we think there could not be a sweeter, better-natured dog for any person or family. Please open your heart, and consider giving her a chance. We know you would never regret it.
