- Clean
and sanitize all medical areas.
- Feed, walk and exercise all hospital
animals.
- Assist vet techs with surgical
prep up to and including holding animals for intubation an
pre-anesthesia injections
- Log in medical data into a web
based database system
- Assist with theraputic procudures and medicated
baths and dips
- Other duties as directed by kennel supervisor
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of web based data entry
- One year minimum experience working in an animal
hospital or animal shelter
- Highly motivated and dependable
- Animal shelter experience preferred
but not required
- Ability to work
in a team environment with co-workers and volunteers
- Communicates
effectively with co-workers, volunteers and clients
- Ability to work
well with and care for dogs, puppies, cat and kittens
- Must be able to lift at least a
40 lb bag of food and a 50 lb bag of litter
- Loves animals
- To be determined
- 40 hours
per week, 10 hour/day, 4 days/week. Days and
hours to be determined.
Must be able to work weekends.
