Regular Part-time
position available
Start Date: Immediate
- Clean
and sanitize all animal areas.
- Feed, walk and exercise all animals.
- Clean shelter facility to prepare for daily opening
to public
- Perform basic maintenance duties including laundry,
mopping, dish washing, etc
- Other duties as directed by kennel supervisor
- High school diploma or GED
- Highly motivated and dependable
- Animal shelter experience preferred
but not required
- Ability to work
in a team environment with co-workers and volunteers
- Communicates
effectively with co-workers, volunteers and clients
- Ability to work
well with and care for dogs, puppies, cat and kittens
- Must be able to lift at least a
40 lb bag of food and a 50 lb bag of litter
- Loves animals
- 25 hours
per week. Days and hours to be determined.
Must be able to work weekends.
